ENGLISH: The following paper presents a qualitative-empirical research, which is focused on two secondary schools in Vienna. In these schools Religious Education in its denominational approach gets to its limits. The purpose of the research project was to get empirical information about how religion, religious diversity and Religious Education are noticed and assessed and in which way Religious Education for all pupils – all churches and religious societies are together responsible for – is accepted in these schools. The paper presents main results, which should be taken into account by religious education.
